Your family chose homeschooling for a reason. For some families homeschooling provides the schedule flexibility their families need. For others, having a parent-centered learning approach where parents - not systems - remain the center of their child's learning is a priority.

Lowcountry Learning Homeschool Cooperative is a Christian-based learning environment that provides teacher-led support for homeschool families. We believe in the Bible, and the Constitution, and supporting families who are searching for quality educational opportunities for their children in a flexible, loving, and supportive educational environment.
The Lowcountry Learning Cooperative serves as a learning cooperative supporting homeschool families throughout the Lowcountry region of South Carolina. Admission is open to all Lowcountry homeschool families on an availability basis and applications must be received and deposit paid in order to be placed on the school's waiting list..
Lowcountry Learning Homeschool Cooperative follows the xxxx school curriculum...
At Lowcountry Learning Homeschool Cooperative, we employ licensed elementary teachers to lead each of our classrooms to ensure that each child is in the care of experienced teaching professionals and each learning pod meets or exceeds state educational learning standards.
Yes! All students of Lowcountry Learning Homeschool Cooperative must be registered as homeschool students with the state of South Carolina. Lowcountry Learning supports homeschool families, but the families themselves remain responsible for adhering to all state requirements including registering with a homeschool accountability organization (list of organizations here).
At Lowcountry Learning we believe that children thrive in interactive environments that balance classroom learning with outdoor play. Our facility has lots of opportunities for students to get fresh air and play time during their school day alongside traditional classroom learning. As a homeschool partnership to lowcountry families, each pod is led by a licensed teaching professional who will instruct students on the week's learning curriculum alongside a teaching assistant to support the learning needs of children. Each Lowcountry Learning family is then provided the tools to continue the homeschool teaching curriculum throughout the week until returning back to the classroom.
Lowcountry Learning currently offers learning pods for children up to the 5th grade of learning. We have plans to expand our offering through middle school so please check back anytime!
Lowcountry Learning offers classroom learning two days per week per student. At registration families will choose either the Monday & Wednesday option, or the Tuesday & Thursday option so that each learning "pod" meets with their learning team two days per week. Drop off for each of their assigned days begins at 8:30am with learning sessions starting at 9:00am. Pick up starts at 2:30pm, with the school closing by 3pm each learning day. Unfortunately, we are unable to make-up missed days since all classrooms remain full, but will guide your child through any "make up" work needed to ensure that your family's scheduling can remain as flexible as possible.
Lowcountry Learning partners with families by offering registered students the opportunity to log into their classroom via remote connection so that they can still participate in their learning day virtually, even when traveling or feeling under the weather.
We are so excited to offer children a farm-based learning environment alongside farm friends like goats and chickens and a vegetable patch where kids can grow their very own vegetables.
